LPG meter with color sensor

Hi ,

i want to make a micro controller based LPG meter .
Plan is :

It will be scanning for blue light .As cooking gas is fixed once u on it will count.
and counter will stop as blue flame goes off.


Just to know how much gas remaining at any time .

Please help me with the pointers[URLs], schematics and code !!
