lpc 1769,debug functions

hi guys,
recently i started using lpc expresso board with lpc1769 target controller
till now i managed to write a few programs for spi. the problem is that i have to make the hardware to test these codes. a few days back i came across the header debug frame work which is uploaded here with. can it be used to test my programs without actually building the whole circuit. it would be help full if any can provide links on it
