looking for help with seven segment LEDs.

alright, so my problem is that I have an output from a designed circuit, it is a 7 bit binary number (it will always be between 0 and 128) what i would like to do, is take this output and display it on three seven seg LEDs, do i need to convert to BCD first, what chips will i need for this? and how exactly do I go about implementing it?
