Hi,
I'm using *allot* of 74HC595's in some designs currently. I'm looking for alternatives to this... The end result will consist of approximately 128 of these chips. Are there any chips I can use that operates the same as the 74HC595, but preferably with more outputs? Say, 16 outputs vs the 8 of the 595?
