looking for equivalent for SB240

I have to repare a power suply unit but this diodet is burned out.

I tried to find it in local store, but no luck.

Any idea what equivalent I can use it instead ?

A two-second Google search indicates it's a 40V, 2A Schottky diode. And Jameco Electronics shows a 1N5822 40V/3A Schottky diode for $0.24 ea.

Check the datasheet to be sure, but this gives you a start...
