I am looking for an IR receiver/Demodulator equivalent to the inexpensive Sharp GP1U52X 3-pin module, 40kHz bandpass. This unit used to be sold by Radio Shack. I know Vishay makes IR receivers but I am not sure what would be most equivalent.

Thx

thanks.

also looks like RS still sells an IR receiver, part 276-640, but I don't know whose part it really is.

What godd is a part that you don't know who made it and there is no datasheet for it??

A part without a (complete, accurate) data sheet can provide hours, even days, of entertainment.

Maybe I'm strange.....
