I am using AVR uC (Micro Controller),
I am in the case where i need pre defined time interval interrupt, eg after every 5 minute, 10 minute, 1 hour..

TIMERS inside the uC already engaged do their own task, i am thinking of any external chip, which takes time from uC in any format I2C or one wire and produced interrupt after that given time, Then i can use my uC external INT Pins to accommodate that interrupt ..

Is there any IC that can produced a signal after an allocated time slice??
