Load switch with FET - Is it really that simple?

Is this the maximum, the common or the threshold value that turns on the transistor?
Look at the datasheet for any Mosfet. Its threshold Vgs is where its current is only 0.25mA so it is barely turned on.
Its on-resistance is spec'd at a very low resistance when its gate to source voltage is 10V or 4.5V or 3V.

Ok!

The SI4401BDY can do the job.
The IRF7410 also, and its Vgs(ths) is of -0.6V with Rds(on) of 7m Ohm @ -4.5V (Vgs)!

So, I will go with the IRF7410!
