Load cell junction box

I'm a newbie to the world of load cells so, let me ask this simple question:

"Junction Box" I've seen the previous word used with the load cells ... What is its main function?

hi,
Its to connect the cable fixed to the LC to the measuring/display unit.
Usually screw terminal block located within the jynction box.
