Vcc if i remember right the output is 7 or 8w, however this ic is prone to oscillation if you do not carefully design you grounding layout.

R Ravi Member Nov 11, 2003 #3 If I can remember correct, LM383 is a power amplifier IC for specific use in car entertainment systems which is housed in a 5 pin TO-220 plastic package with internal heat sink.
