LM317T 2 Volts, 1 Amp Charger

Earlier in this forum, I posed a question about a simple charger using a LM317 voltage regulator. Putting a 1.5 resistor in the output leg puts out 1.25 volts, 1 amp. I want to increase the output voltage to about 2 volts and keep the amps at 1. I added two resistors to the adj leg of the LM317 as shown in the attachment. Will this work? Thanks
