Liexen vv898 stuck on memory

I took this radio to my local radio club where I am a member and hold full license. Tom programmed it for me with all the local repeaters and its great, the problem is that I don't know how to switch from memory to VFO. please help. The radio may be only cheap but for the price its a lovely 3 bander.
