Hi

Iam doing water level controller using 89C51 .In this I have to control the water taps According to the level of the water in the tank.

How to measure the level of water (full tank or empty tank) .

Please proved me related material for this one.

hi chandu,

If you just want to measure the water levels when the tank is almost empty and again when its full, to control a water tank fill valve then:

Use two floats with microswitches, one float will operate the valve to open the valve and the other float will operate a microswitch when the tank is full, to close the valve.

Wire the microswitches in series, so they switch in the correct sense, for full and empty.

I can use float switch on the top of the tank.

But how I can use float switch in side or bottom of the water.

Please post me one diagram or project related with float micro switches.
