Level sensor for diesel

Hi All

I would like to measure the continuous Diesel level in a tank.

I am interested in capacitive type design.
Can you guide me where to start? What I know is that by changing the fuel level between the capacitive probes capacitance will ne changed and by using this capacitance in a bridge circuit we can calculate the level proportional to capacitance. Is that right?

I am not getting how to design Capacitive probe? What dimensions, what material, for diesel as dielectric.

Please guide me.
