Hi all.
Who knows what is exactly a "driving method of 1/4, or 1/8, cycle" of a led screen module ?
Chinesse stores sells this kind of modules, with 16x8 pix, 32x16 pix, etc, and all they say is "static driving", or "1/8 cycle driving method", etc.
Obviously, when I asked them, the seller don't know about that.

Thanks.

The LCD is only on for that much of a total clock cycle. Or it individually cycles through 1/4 1/8 etc.. portions of the screen. It's definitely some kind of PWM method, perhaps to use fewer drive components to control more segments.

Thans Sceadwian.
Any ideas how to find a doccument for read about that issue ?
Yes, the modules uses IC's that not have PWM inside them, (to be more cheaps).

Not a clue sorry BTX.
