LED schematic question

Ok, so i want to add a LED status light to my battery charger. The schematic for the LEDs looks like this:

Here is the relevant portion of the charger schematic without the LEDs:

Should the current pass through the "Charge Power" LED on its way to V+ like this?

Sorry if this seems like a really obvious question. I thought i understood things and then someone said something contradictory, so I'm looking for affirmation here
