G'day Guy's,
With the weather a bit wild today and my package from Sparkfun arrived, as soon as I saw the size of the 4 pin zif connector for my touch screen I knew I had to get my magnifier powered up with led's just so I can see the thing.
I used Commanda's Circuit 4 for the led circuit which is just 2 resistors a BC547 transistor and a 2n7000 fet. There are 16 led's arranged as 4 strings of 4 and the 2n7000 doesn't even get warm after an hours test. I used a 12 volt DC plug pack so it can be used both in the shed and down at the house.
