Hi everybody, yes it's been a while. My life has started getting busier, but I haven't forgot about electronics n this forum:D. Which brings me to my question: I need an LED bar graph driver. I checked out the LM3916/4 and that would work for me just fine, but my voltage supply is too low to run that IC. I need something that can run on as low as 4 volts. Any suggestions?

Hi Zach,
Welcome back.
Here are two ICs that work fine on a supply down to less than 3V:

UAA 170 from Siemens ?

Hee hee, my first time back to the forum and I already feel like an idiot:D. Guess I should've looked at the datasheet. I was looking at a picture which showed a supply voltage of 6.8V-18V. Thanks!

You're not on your own,I do it constantly and it costs me big money sometimes. I'm learning though,I sometimes even read the instructions.

Oh god! Man, you know hell is about to break loose the minute a guy reads the instructions! lol :)
