More information is needed -

Which pin on your MCU do you have the LDR hooked up to?

Do you have a pull up resistor on that pin? If so, what is its value?

What is the "dark" resistance of the LDR?

What is the "light" resistance of the LDR?

Do you have said pin configured as an input in software?

Can you post up your code?
