Lcd how to use ?

i have some old lcd module ,but i can't use it
please tell me about this !

The module have 14 pin
i think it config same the normal lcd module
pin 1:vss,2:vdd....13: Db7,14DB7
it 's not work

It's almost certainly a standard Hitachi compatible module - connect just power to it, and a contrast control, and you should be able to adjust the contrast to give a single line of black squares.
