in series do capacitors with the values 1000m 4700u 3300u 2200u 1000u
make 22000u?
plz help

If you want to ADD capacitors to make one big capacitor, you connect them in paralel, if you connect them in series, the capacity will be lower!

Yea paralel them.

Thats what i did in my coil gun i paralleld two 10 000 uF caps to get 20 000uF

No, it will more than likely make a value lower than your smallest capacitor of 1000uF (1nF).

For series, use this equation:

1/ ((1/c1)+(1/c2)+(1/c3)+(1/c4).....+(1/cn))

where the ..... means (1/c) where c is the next capacitor. C1, C2, C3, C4, and CN are all capacitor values. Keep the units the same, and whatever unit you use, the result will also be in that unit.

For parallel, just convert the values to the same units and add the values.
