I'm thinking about building a interface for an old joystick.
The interface is supposed to control a servo, and as far as i can tell the servoes runs with PWM, so i need an interface that can make these pulses. I've searched on google, and found: https://www.4qdtec.com/jsi.html but i cant figure out, if this can do the trick. I just want it to do pulses for me;
move the joystick forward, and i moves the servo one way, and reverse the other way.
I don't think that circuit will help you if this is an R/C hobby servo.
Do you know the resistance of the pot(s) in your joystick?
There are a lot of circuits out there to "test" or "exercise" servos. Many based on PIC's, but also on LM555 ICs. One of these might be adaptable to your joystick.
