Issue of analogue filters

I was wondering if anyone know what practical issue of analogue filters is addressed by the oversampling process?

Wild, in my prev reply I realized that the info I gave you was centered around analouge, but the discussion in that forum and text is very good and I thought I might have given you a possible soution to your quest for the info you were looking for at a breif glance on my part. Sorry if I appeared to confuse the issue.

Good deal, The guys here are super smart too, but I use as much diferent text as I can get and that link has some pretty good info as well as basic stuff for newbies like me too.
