E eng1 New Member Nov 3, 2006 #3 What current do you need? and what is the input voltage? The LM3940 can't be operated with high input voltages. The LM2937-3.3 has a wide input voltage range but it can supply up to 500 mA.

William At MyBlueRoom New Member Nov 10, 2006 #9 Thanks the LM2940 3.3 looks like the part I'll use. I wanted to drop in a 3.3 into the Inchworm ICD2 for 3.3V projects. (Use a 3.3v MAX 232 too)
