i tried to imagine it in this way: https://i28.tinypic.com/24pwdvl.jpg
[latex]C_1=\frac{2\epsilon_0}{d-a}\\[/latex]
[latex]C_2=\frac{k\epsilon_0}{d}\\[/latex]
[latex]C_3=\frac{2\epsilon_0}{d-a}\\[/latex]
[latex]\frac{1}{C}=\frac{1}{C_1}+\frac{1}{C_2}+\frac{1}{C_3}[/latex]
is it ok?
I'm not so sure they have a Latex addon for the forum. You'd have to ask Electromaster in the feedback forum. I don't think I've ever seen someone use it at least. Would be a nice addition.
LaTeX is implemented, because transgalactic used it in his first post to show the equations. However, it would be nice to know what denotions he used to initiate it, perhaps he will tell us.
Nigel, food for thought... A 'feature' has not been implemented unless the users that have it available know about it =O
What current people will say to those that develop nanotechnology in the future.. "So that's how you did that!" All the building blocks are here now, but not a lot of people know how to use them..
