is it possible for using connecting 8 UART externally to PIC (i-e apart form interna)

can i able to connect 8 UART with PIC 16Fxxx
and make it to work almost simultaneously

wat should i do for that is there any special device need for tat like latch r something

also tell me the IC name for UART suitable for such application
r shall i go for i2c
i'm in confuse how to select the IC...

Maxim makes an SPI UART, I think the part is a MAX3110E

What will the 8 serial channels be hooked to? What is the distance involved?

A 16 series device running at a decent speed can handle 8 simultaneous RS232 channels at 9600 baud with the right code. See page two of this thread for the details.
