OK, so I have one of the new iPod nano 4g's, which support video. They also have a TV out feature. But, apparently Apple has introduced a ID "chip", which tells the iPod that its a Apple brand cable, and wont work with other versions.

Basically, I dont believe this is actually a chip, more like just a resistor with a set value.

Has anyone ever attempted to "hack out" the video from one of these things?

I would go buy a cable, but they are $80AU :eek::eek:

sorry dude, they realy are ID chips. BOYCOT APPLE!!! :D If you did not already have a crApple I would suggest one of the many off brands instead.
