ipod help?

i have an ipod that will turn on and interact with the computer but has no screen display at all nothing on screen any ideas?

no i got it second hand cuz it didnt work an i figured somebody knows what to do 2 fix it so i thought id try 2 learn how

ok I need more info,
what model of iPod.

does it work can you get it to play if so then it might be just a bad connection on the LCD.
But I am willing to bet it got wet.

if you use a magnifying lens and look into the dock connector.
and see if there is any signs of water damage.

Put your nose up to the dock connector and inhale and see if it smells burnt.
