Iphone WiFi Development Board

Hi,

I am working on a project that involves controlling a circuit from a iphone iOS device. Do any of you know of any resources or wifi development boards that can be used to accomplish this?
I am a little familiar with XCode however, right now i have no idea how to get my iphone to talk to a wifi development board.
