Iot microphone?

Please help! I want to build a microphone that I can listen into over internet as a pet monitor . I don’t want video just audio. Perhaps a raspberry pi web server with microphone array.
Or does anyone know if there is a microphone one can buy that can plug into router and access with an IP address?
