Hi all

I like to construct a dimmer to control the intensity of an incandescent bulb using PIC16F676. Is it possible to utilise the external interrupt for zero crossing detection and internal interrupt i.e. TMR0 overflow interrupt for firing angle setting in the same code? If so, please post a small piece of code or any link on it.

regards,

swapan

Simply put a 220k and 5v1 zener and 10k on a digital line and let the program work out when the mains is zero.
