Interfacing Lcd and 4*4 matrix keypad with PIC18f4520

Hi Guys,

Please, can someone kindly help with a LCD and Keypad C- Code to interface PIC18F4520 and dispaying massage send from the keypad on the LCD.

I'm using MPLAB (MC18 ) compiler :

LCD Connection:

I've used only 4bits (pin 11-14) of the data pins and connectted to PORTD 0-3 i.e (RD0-RD3) of the PIC

E, R/W and RS are connectted to PORTE 0-2 respectively. i.e (RE0-RE2)


Keypad Connection:

The Column (X1-X4) are connectted to PORTA 1-4 i.e (RA1-RA4)

The Row (Y1-Y4) are connectted to PORTB 0-3 i.e (RB0-RB3)
