interfacing graphical lcd with avr microcontroller

Dear friends i want to interface a graphical lcd with avr uC but i dnt have knowledge about g lcd from where should i start coz there are many g lcds available please guide some one and give the required link for reading and assembly code also

At the top of the micro controller forum, there is a sticky by 3V0, it has information in it on graphic LCD's, I would start there. Loads of information contained within from memory
