interfacing GP2D12 with a ADC0809

hey guys i need help how would i interface GP2D12 with a ADC0809 or with a ADC0808 then the output goes to a AT89S51.

is there any way i can see the output of the ADC0808/ADC0809 on a oscilliscope??

first off do you need 8 channels..? cuz the 0802, 3 , 4, are a lot cheaper by half..

yeah but it would just be ones and zeros.. but you could see the output of the gp2d12 ...
