Hi,
The following attached are two inrush circuits, which are supposed to delay the bypass fet switch on.
Only the one labelled “….OK” works.
The one marked “…WRONG” does not work because the FET gate gets turned on prematurely by a current pulse which comes through the fet driver’s ground connection, and then goes through the gate driver output, and thence turns on the fet spuriously. This is ultimately due to current going through the FETs stray capacitance....
Can you see a quick way of mitigating this issue?
