induction heating

i am doing project on induction heating with the help of a transformer. I was unable to heat the metal at the work coil. The IGBT is not switching to produce the inductance at the work coil. What to do, to make the work coil to heat the metal by the help of a transformer. I am not able to debug where the error was..! So kindly help me on how to switch the IGBT to produce the inductance and how to match the transformer in the coil...! thanks in advance..!
