hi ppl! i am currently pursuing my mini project for my 3rd year undergrad EEE . can some one suggest me a ckt for making a low voltage impulse (1kv-5kv) generator that can be reproduced. thanx for the same ! good day

Ahem.. I hardly call that low voltage! :?

Try looking for ESD test generator circuits. They can reasonably reproduce kV impulses and are relatively simple to build.
