Hello all,

This is my first post here! This is a great site: a wealth of knowledge!

I have several old transistors that are marked in the following manner:
F585
-33
831 (or possibly 837)

I am able to test it with my multimeter and I know that it's an NPN with an hFE around 76, but that's about all I'm able to ascertain. Does anyone have any idea of where I can find more information about these little guys? I'd love to find a datasheet of course, but any information will be welcome!

Thanks so much in advance,

Keith E. Cooper

Hey, thanks Dragon Tamer! I should have stated that what I'm looking for is in a TO-92 package. But Philips may be the answer! I've had these little guys for at least 30 years -- probably closer to 40 years.

I really appreciate your effort in trying to help!

I have attached (hopefully) a couple of images.

Sincerely,
Kooth
