I was given a samsung tv which seems to have this fault in the power circuit:
I am getting the same 10v result as in the video, but if you look at time index 46seconds, he says that capacitor is 10v 1000uF, my instincts say its a film capacitor, but i cannot find one with that rating , also he says its only 10-16V across that capacitor but i wonder if that is true, i am just suspicious cos its on the hot side of the board, pls confirm!? The Least i need to know is the type of cap this is, ie aluminum, film, ect...
