hi friends,
i am doing buck-boost converter in that i am using 555 as pwm ckt .in that im using 1 k pot and getting min time period of 10ms but i need the o\p time period in micro sec.kindly suggest me

Why on earth are you using the 555?

Use a real switching regulator controler IC like the MB3759.

RC Time Constant

Decreasing either your resistor value or capacitor value will shorten the period. Try something like 0.1 uF (if that's not enough, try 0.01 uf, if too much try 1.0 uf and so on). Hope that helps.
