Hello,

I am try to use iButton instead of RFID. RFID can send charater(eg.00FF2561), but iButton send unknown symbols. So, Do I need to change RFID code for iButton?

Please help me

Thanks in advance

If you use the DS19xx I-button it transmits the unique serial number on the button via one wire connection.

It's main purpose is access control.

Hi Mike,

I guess different protocols will not be the problem when reading.

The RFID chip transmits an RF signal to be converted.

The I-button is read directly via one wire connection.

There are contactless iButtons that behave like RFID devices. See **broken link removed**.

Hello,

Yes. It is same protocol as RFID reader. I only receive unknown symbols (e.g.,ˆÿžçþ„ÿ), but I can receive RFID number (e.g., 00FF2590).

How to get ibutton number as RFID?

Thanks
