Is there any IC on the market, that can be I2C controlled and provides 16 INDEPENDENT PWM channels?

What are the PWM channels doing?
Make a voltage? OR To drive servo motors? OR Current in LEDs?

I need to drive RGB negative LCDs (for a start).
