I would like the design wireless alarm system with GSM backup

Hi, I'm technician,

I plan to develop new wireless alarm system with slim design.
The alarm system must be wireless and with GSM backup (make GSM call and send text message).

Now what I know is using Microprocessor and GSM module to do this.
But I don't know the programming (51 chip) for the microprocessor, What should I do ?

Any suggestion ?

Having done the same thing a few years ago and you not knowing "the programming chip" then you have a long way to go my friend.
You need to profficient in a programming language, fully understand the '51 chip' of your choice and understand the AT Hayes command set with the GSM extensions.
Unless of course you can buy one off the shelf.
