Hi, I have a component and I do not know what it is, it looks like a small resister and has the following written on it:-

V100 TAM
250V 2A
103°C 042
<PS>E

I would appreciate any help on what it is, and what would be the equivalent ?
thanks

Yes, it's a thermal fuse.

If it's good it should be closed circuit. If you've de-soldered it, it's almost certainly bad now.
