How to take notes?

yes, but also I have to study from it! Research is not important at this case, unfortunately :(

But i think the school is quite different from university.The university requires for us to search , there are lectures,conferences,seminars and such things.
Here in Syria the university is very similar to school or (in other words) it seems like a big school contains different specialists.

I don't get it, what could possibly happen if you wrote something different than the teacher? Do they go around reading everyone's notes or something?

No no ... they're collecting the notes occasionally - most teachers simply look angry - but some of them even give you a bad mark if you don't fulfill their wishes. The same with homework ... you *have to* use the knowledge acquired in school.

yeah. I think to my point about research matter which is the opposite of saving in mind capabilities.
