How to join broken flex ribbon cable in my mobile phone

Hi,

The ultra thin, flexible, flat ribbon cable/bus that connects my phones main body to its flip is broken.

Is there a way to join it back.

I would have replaced it altogether but I cant get to the point it connects inside the flip. The flip is glued or sealed tight.

It's not really practical, it's ultra thin conductor with plastic around it.
