How to drive Black Light Tubes

Thanks for all the info. I actually found a old push-pull configuration 6v 8w kit which uses 2 nec d 882 pnp transistors and is quite what i was looking for but i would like to build a kit of my own with by modifying the the coil winding like you said in your provided links, and right now i am on it.

or brake the base of a broken economy lamp and connect the two pairs of output in the lamp....will work nicely
