How to display datas from USART to GLCD

Hello


I have an existing Pic based board that currently sends datas ( from sensors ) over a PIC USART. ( RS232 datas readable with hyperterminal console with a laptop )

I like to get these datas live displayed on a GLCD (128x64) to get them human readable without a computer connected on it.

Has somebody done this already ?
If so i would really appreciate any help or maybe some code examples.

You're better off using a character display instead of a glcd. I've never used them, but there are some that will connect directly to the usart of your MCU

Do you have some schematic and code examples for LCD directly connected to MCU Usart ?
