how to build circuit tfor ransformerless -48V 5A power supply.

Hi All,

I am newbiee to electronic ckts, would require help to design -48V 5A power supply (transformerless) to support my various devices.

I have one Powersupply (Faulty) with Very Bulky 48-0-48 Transformer.

You can go to a line powered switching type supply, which will reduce the size of the transformer, but you can't eliminate the transformer.

To say nothing of the hazard of working on non-isolated AC powered stuff. Get a Transformer!
