Variable Voltage Supply requirements: This should be made from an op-amp and a MOSFET (not a
commercial regulator chip). It should provide an output voltage of 0-5 V at 500 mA,
adjustable using a potentiometer. You should test the transient performance of the circuit by
switching on and off a load using a second MOSFET as the switch driven from the Function
generator. You may also like to tailor the overload performance.

Any ideas? The circuit should be linear regulated.I looked at the circuit in https://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/power/011/index.html but BJTs were used instead of MOSFETs and no opamps were used.I've also looked here https://tangentsoft.net/elec/opamp-linreg.html but I'm not sure how to modify the circuits to match my requirements. The circuit shouldn't be too complex or complicated.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
